Hi  my name is Christopher Wincer and my best friend Jake was diagnosed with Leukaemia in February 2018.  Jake is undergoing treatment and can be in isolation for long periods of time and having the room that he is in with his own bathroom, tv, fridge and sofa means he can have family and friends around him.  It was only when talking to the brilliant staff that we realised that there are only two rooms available on this ward as there is not enough funding.  There is a notable difference in the recovery of patients in this environment so I thought it would be a good idea to fundraise funds for improving facilities in the rooms on Durlston ward.

I will be completing a six pick a mix challenge over the next 12 months, details will be posted on Facebook this link will take you to the page www.facebook.com/sixpickamixchallengeinaidofdurlstoncancerward and this will allow people to choose challenges and choose outfits to be worn.

If the target is reached I will be shaving my head to a 0.5!!
