Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page.

I am running (read dragging body) the Brighton Marathon in April in memory of my Mum and Grandmother(or Wa-Wa!). They were both patients at the hospice and every part of the place made their last days and weeks as comfortable as possible.

The hospice provided Mum and Wa-Wa with the highest degree of palliative care and anything they asked was never too much hassle for the staff. They also provided our family with meals, accomodation and support before and after they both passed away.

The hospice relies upon public donations of around £4million each year to survive and I really hope to give a large donation to them after dragging my behind around 26.2 miles of Brighton's finest streets.

Thank you!

About the charity

St Wilfrid’s Hospice provides tailored end of life care both in the community and at our Hospice, supporting our patients living with a terminal illness, and their family and friends. We rely on the generous support of our community to raise the £8million we need each year to fund our services.
