Story

As a cause close to my heart, and  to support a less well-known charity, I am running the Great North Run for Action for M.E.

Action for M.E. is the UK's leading charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with M.E, It is at the forefront of the campaign for more research, better treatments and services since 1987, and provides information and support to people affected. M.E is also known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and is sometimes diagnosed as Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome (PVFS). For more information see http://www.afme.org.uk/

To meet my charity pledge of £300, I need to raise an average of over £40 per month between now and September so please help me to get the the fundraising off to a great start - every little helps!

Thanks very much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page :-)

p.s. if you're new to all this, the admin-y but useful to know disclaimer bit:

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

At Action for M.E. we're working to end the ignorance, injustice and neglect experienced by men, women and children with M.E. We provide a lifeline of support to thousands of people each year, campaign to raise awareness of M.E. and work to encourage more high-quality biomedical research.
