Story
I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on 4th January 2014.
Because my body cannot produce its own insulin, I have to get it injected into my body every day. I also have to prick my finger about 10 times a day to test my blood sugar levels.
Everyone says I am very brave, but I don't want to do this forever. I want to raise money for Diabetes UK so they can find a cure.
The first event I will be doing is a 4km walk at Stormont on the 8th June.
Wish me luck!!
