We support those affected by meningitis to stop the disease devastating lives

Story

Kevin I am doing the 100 Mile Wiggle Peak District Sportive with my fiancé Phil Hewitt on a tandem, to raise money for a charity very close to our heart and in memory of my dad.

A few days into the new millennium my dad Kevin Leaver aged just 50 died from meningococcal septicaemia within five hours of being rushed into hospital.  We lost an incredibly kind and loving man who was so dear to us all.

I haven't done any fundraising for a while for Meningitis Now and thought I would set myself a little challenge this year! 100 miles on a tandem with Phil up and down the hills of the Peak District on Sunday 27 September 2015!

By supporting the work of Meningitis Now we want to try and reduce the number of people who have to suffer the loss of a loved one and that everyone affected by Meningitis gets the support they need.

Thank you very much for your support

Claire & Phil x
