Last year Nathan a member of our family was diagnosed with cancer.Nathan was only 19 years of age.In May whilst out attending his duke of Edinburgh he was complaining of a bad leg.Nathan had previously been hit by a hockey stick in his lower leg, so thought it needed to be checked out. After routine X-rays and scan the doctor's found a tumour attached to his bone.In August to the disbelief and shock to his family, Nathan was diagnosed with cancer.Nathan was taken to Cardiff Heath Hospital to start his treatments. After months of treatment and being really ill, admitted to Icu on numerous occasions due to his body unable to cope with the treatment. To the joy of his family he was able to come home on Christmas Eve.But in January the bad news was given that his leg would have to be amputated. His mother Sue Said "if it wasn't for the support of the Rhys Daniels trust", she wouldn't have known what she would've done. The home to home accommodation in which Sue, his mum uses on a regular basics has massively helped her in being there for her Son Nathan throughout his vigorous treatments.
