Ellie & Mark have signed up to Zip Slide across St James' Park on Saturday 17th March 2018.  This event is for a charity very close to our hearts.  As you are aware, our son and Ellie's seven year old brother Ben was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia on 1st January 2018.  A huge shock to our family.  He is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment at the RVI in Newcastle. 

Gareth Williams from Newcastle United Foundation has been with Ben on a daily basis and even on the most horrendous days has brightened Ben's day and motivated him.  Gareth and Ben have built up a lovely relationship and discuss their love of football.  Gareth is there for everyone on Ward 4 (Cancer Unit).  We know that there are many sponsored events going on at present and fully understand that our friends can't support everything. Please can you consider donating a small amount in order for us to raise funds for Newcastle United Foundation.

All funds raised will help support Foundation Disability Projects across Newcastle, North Tyneside, Gateshead and Northumberland.
