Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.  We have 34  runners in our Royal Warrant Holders Association team entering The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon, http://www.royalparkshalf.com/.  We are hoping to raise as much as possible for The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust, http://www.qest.org.uk/, the charitable branch of The RWHA.

The 34 runners either represent an area of The RWHA or QEST. These include runners 32 from 11 different Royal warrant holding companies : David & Michelle McDonald, Apex Lift & Escalator Engineers Ltd; Samantha Middlewood & Beth Baker, British Sugar Plc;  Ray Brookes, Adrian Gunn, Danny Hudson, Caroline Neale, Calor Gas Ltd; Guy Cliffe, Champagne Louis Roederer; Samuel Horrell, Dodson & Horrell Ltd; Kevin Brush, Fairhust Ward Abbotts Ltd; Enguerrand Baijot, Paul Beavis, Susan Cordeaux, Mark Coughlan, John Hutson, Oliver Loveday, Jamie Rust, Sandrine Perry, Champagne Lanson Père et Fils; Max Caunhye, Mark Constantine, David Hedges, Chris Lamont, Jason Morris, Stuart Newble, Adam Staniforth, Manhattan Furniture; David Perrett & Stan Tedford, Rokill Ltd. We also have 1 member of The RWHA, and a QEST Scholar, Rebecca Harvey.

QEST makes awards ranging up to £15,000 to craftsmen and women of all ages to help them further their careers. Since 1991 the Trust has awarded over £1.5 million to 226 craftspeople aged between 17 and 50 plus for study, training and work experience. QEST was established in 1990 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of The RWHA and the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor this worthwhile charity!

Kind regards,

Richard Watling, QEST Chairman
