The thought of running an agonising 26 miles was not on my list of things to do...
However, The Charlie Waller Memorial Trust offered me a place and I just couldn't refuse/ resist! What better way of thanking those that work with and give love to those who suffer from depression and anxiety.I run for all those that don't have this crucial support. Like all illnesses, mental illness can strike at any time, even when things on the surface seem to be going well. The CWMT does fantastic work towards raising the awareness of the symptoms and dangers of depression and deserves all the money we can raise.
Day before... Overwhelmed by everyone's support- fantastic donations, cards, pressies and messages of love. Thank you. Have now done final 'light jog' wearing tomorrow's kit. Ben's off to buy bags of ice and Zuko can sense something is in the air. Bring it on!
Day after... I did it! 4hrs 42- alrighty! Stiff but elated, masses of thanks to all those who cheered me on xox
Masses of love and thanks, Clara
