Story
As many of you know my wife and son were both diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes eight years ago and they have to live with this condition on a daily basis, each injecting four times a day.
A visit to our house is like a vist to needle city!
Last year someone told me about JDRF, which is a charity set up to find a cure for Diabetes for both children and adults.
Having completed a 10km run last year in just under 75 minutes and raised much needed funds, I was invited to take on the role of Chair for this year's event and I was delighted to do so, as this cause is not only worthwhile but has had a major impact on my family’s lives.I would welcome any donation you can make to this charity who are under greater pressure than ever due to the growing number of people, especially children who are affected.
This year I aim to run 5km in under thirty minutes.
Thank you in advance for your support.Cliff
