Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Andrew and I are walking the Dalesway.  It's 76 miles starting in Ilkley and finishing at Bowness, Windermere.  We're planning to do this over 5 days with the first 2 days walking over 25 miles each day.  We're also camping so carrying tents and equipment just to add to the load of the back pack.

I haven't walked with a back pack or camped since interailing as a student over 25 years ago, so this should be an experience.  In preparation for the walk, I've undertaken one form of exercise such as the gym, walks, or tennis nearly every day for the last 2 weeks and plan to continue this preparation up to the start.  Last weekend I went on a practice walk up to Beamsley Beacon and back which was 11 miles and somewhat tired and blistered at the end of it.  So, I can say I'm nervous about this challenge ahead.

If you can give anything it will be much appreciated and I hope you see that it's for a good cause.  Please note that all the money raised goes to the charity and just giving admin. and not to any of the equipment I've had to buy in order to do this.
