Story

Running this year's Great North Run will be Victor Castro, Tom Daly, Alex Brown and Laura Peveller, making up 'Team Close House'. As a trio of proud North Easterners (Tom, Laura & Alex) along with one adopted Chilean North Easterner (Victor), we couldn't think of a better charity to be running this year's Great North Run in aide of, than the Sir Graham Wylie Foundation.

Created by Sir Graham (our very own top man and owner here at Close House) The Sir Graham Wylie Foundation aims to help, educate and inspire children across the North East of England. Helping projects like the Newcastle United Foundation and the Teenage Cancer Trust, the Foundation really does make a difference here in this patch of land we all call home.

We would be over the moon with any donation, big or small, for this brilliant charity. The foundation is one of a rare few charities anywhere in the world to hand 100% of donations to deserving causes, meaning that any donation made will go a long way to leaving a lasting legacy across the North East, for generations to come

See you at the finish line for a beer (or some Chilean Merlot!).

About the charity

To help, educate and inspire underprivileged children of the North East by means of grants to fund staff, medical equipment and buildings. 100% of all donations are given to good causes and all overheads and running costs are met by Graham Wylie personally.
