Under normal circumstances the Great Wilderness Challenge would be taking place in Poolewe. I have either taken part in or helped with since 1999. Unfortunately due to the pandemic the event was unable to take place last year and this year is different as it is a virtual event.

I normally participate in the 13 mile course so I have selected a walk that is nearly identical in length which will be from Leckmelm to East Rhidorroch Lodge and back into Ullapool.
