After several years of neglect I started running again this year and completed the Great North Run in September. My next challenge is the London Marathon in April 2011. I am doing this in support of Macmillan Cancer. Cancer has had a big impact on my own family, with my mum having passed away in September from the disease. I know whatever I can raise will make a huge difference to the lives of other sufferers and their families.
