We are running the Bath Half Marathon to raise money for the Wallace and Gromit Cots for Tots Appeal.  All money raised will go towards new cots and a new intensive care suite at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St Michael’s Hospital Bristol.

 

We are running on behalf of our son, Nathan William Dines, who was born in August 2010.  Nathan suffered a traumatic birth and owes his life to the Southmead and St Michaels NICUs, and the surgical unit at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.

 

Every day these children's units save the lives of newborn babies - there is a steady stream of new patients coming into both NICUs and up and down the hill between St Michaels Hospital and the Children's hospital, and thanks to the dedicated staff there is also a steady stream of healthy children returning to their new homes.

 

Please help us show our appreciation for these wonderful people who gave us back our son, and help them continue giving this amazing service to other families.
