Event: Take on the Tower Abseil, from 9 April 2016 to 10 April 2016

Story

Hello there all!

Thank you for visiting and hopefully donating to the page! I have went and done something stupid and signed up for this 'Take On The Tower Abseil', which takes part in the 9th April (this weekend!!), where I'll abseil down the Belfast city hospital (the big part at 190ft, not the 2 story one).

I'm sure all my friends and family know that I have Brain Cancer and it just so happens that it's almost to the date of this abseil (April 13th, 2015 was when I was first rushed to the hospital).

After two awake-brain surgeries, news I've got stage 4 cancer, 6 weeks of radiotherapy, and 6 months of chemotherapy I am still going on. And I owe a lot of that to Friends of the Cancer Centre. An amazing charity which has helped cancer patients for over 30 years get through the whole process. There is always someone there to support and help you, and they genuinely do care about how you are.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to give a special shout out to my nurses and support officer Renee and Simon! You are heroes.

Please donate! Not just for me but for all the Cancer patients right now.

Thank you

- Conor
