A few months ago, a friend who runs a fantastic charity called Innovista working with disadvantaged young people asked me if I was up for joining a sponsored adventure race: 10k trail run, 25K mountain bike + 1k kayak + other surprise challenges to make it more fun :)

I've never done a race like this before & it sounded like a great idea at the time...but as the date gets closer it seems like quite a long way & I'm starting to worry if my dodgy ankles, knees, hip, back, neck, shoulder and head are really going to cope with this!  Anyway, too late to back out now & it is for a great cause so please Sponsor Me to make all the months of potential physio seem worthwhile!
