We fund pioneering research to tackle bowel cancer.

Story

Every single penny raised in sponsorship of The Corbstars' 'jog on the Tyne' will go towards helping the Bobby Moore Fund achieve its two main aims: to fund research into bowel cancer, and to increase the public awareness of the disease.

Bowel cancer is currently the second highest killing cancer in the UK, with 44 deaths every single day - but this doesn't have to be the case. If caught early enough, more than 90% of cases are treatable.

To date, these 'Angels of the North' have raised over £300,000 for the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK. So please dig deep and donate - your support will be very much appreciated and go a tremendous way to help beat bowel cancer sooner.

Many thanks.

Stephanie Moore MBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund in partnership with Cancer Research UK, following the death of her husband, Bobby Moore, from bowel cancer. The Bobby Moore Fund is now a leader in the fight against bowel cancer, funding research that’s helping more people to survive than ever before.
