A couple of weeks ago, I lined up with thousands of other runners to partake in a little jog around old London town! If you had told me two years ago that I would entering the London Marathon, I would have laughed and said that would never be possible - me, a runner?? Turns out that you can achieve some pretty great things if you put your mind to it. 

I finished the marathon in a time of 4:52:27 which is a massive PB from my previous (and first ever) marathon a year ago!!! It was such an amazing experience - one I will never forget.

SportsAid is a fantastic charity that helps young British athletes to focus on their dreams and give it everything they've got to make those dreams become a reality.  It takes a lot of focus, energy, time, patience and strength to keep going again and again and again and again. It also costs a lot of money, from classes and equipment to uniforms and travel costs.  Thanks to SportsAid, GB's next olympians and paralympians can keep going without that financial stress to hold them back.  

Fun Fact: SportsAid was the first ever official charity of the London Marathon back in 1984!
