Wac Arts is a charity based in the Old Town Hall, Belsize
Park, North London.
Wac Arts has been driven by the needs of children and young
people for nearly 40 years. Working with 800 young people aged 5-26 each year.
Wac Arts provides weekend, evening and holiday programmes as
well as unique Full-time performing arts course and a vibrant disability and inclusion programme.
Wac Arts is a creative hub where young people build
confidence, artists connect, and other arts and cultural organisations thrive.
Wac Arts prides itself on offering fully inclusive
programmes that celebrates diversity. Wac Arts subsidise the cost of classes in order to make them accessible to all young people. 19% identify as having special educational needs and/or disabilities and 78% are from black, Asian, and minority ethnic backgrounds (BAME).
Wac Arts are proud of the achievements of all our alumni.
20% of our young people go into an arts related career, whether on stage, in administration or teaching. Many have successful careers as youth workers, teachers, lawyers, administrators, entrepreneurs and, as importantly, effective parents.
