Story

I'm raising funds for WEA because they help transform lives, communities and society through adult education.

As the UK’s largest voluntary sector provider of adult education in England and Scotland WEA are dedicated to bringing high-quality education into the heart of communities. Your support means WEA can keep delivering friendly, accessible and enjoyable courses for adults from all walks of life.

£100 Could fund new mums to attend a local family learning course.
£500 Could fund a local taster to improve health and wellbeing.
£1000 could fund an arts and crafts workshop for local residents recovering from mental illness.
£5000 could pay for 15 unemployed people in your local area to attend a course which could transform their future.

WEA want the most disadvantaged adults in society to have access to learning opportunities and this mission continues to inform everything they do.

WEA believe in adult education for all. WEA believe in lifelong learning. And, WEA believe adult education counts towards a better society. The WEA is on the frontline of adult education in society, helping people to get a job – or improve their health and wellbeing.
