Crumball Rally - The Italian Job · 6 September 2019

Young Epilepsy is dedicated to standing up for children and young people with epilepsy. We’re here for them. But we need your support because epilepsy is limiting the chances of thousands of children today and may continue to do so for the rest of their lives. Together we create possible.

Story

James' son Charlie has suffered with epilepsy since he was 6 months old - Young Epilepsy is the only UK charity dedicated to creating better lives for children and young people with epilepsy and related conditions and they can never receive enough support on this mission.

Our little group is filled with adventure seeking guys rapidly approaching middle-age and looking for ever more ridiculous things to experience....so we wanted to find a way to do something fun AND raise money for this great cause.

So we decided we'd enter into The Crumball Rally Italian Job (https://www.crumballrally.com/the-italian-job/). A 3-day rally from France, through Switzerland and the Alps on into Monaco and finishing up in Nice....the catch? We're doing driving 2 seater soft-top convertibles bought for no more than £1000 - if we make it without a couple of breakdowns, it will be a miracle! Team names are still to be confirmed, but the three teams entered are:

  1. Dan S & James C
  2. Dan B & Trevor B
  3. Dan H & Simon H
This activity is all for a bit of fun, but the cause is serious....epilepsy has a huge impact on the life of every person that suffers from it (and those around them)....and Young Epilepsy are there to help those children and young people who face a hard start in life with epilepsy. Please donate to this worthwhile cause, and in return we'll make sure there are plenty of embarrassing stories and pictures to make you laugh (which we'll share along the way).
