I've been involved with Ruth's Place for over 8 years now. The first time I stepped foot into Ruth's Place I fell in love and literally never left! Ruth's Place offers so much to women as they find permanent housing. But what these women have offered me over the years I could never repay them for!

Ruth's Place is the only 24/7 emergency shelter for women in Luzerne County. Since its inception in 2003, the shelter has housed over 2,790 women and has provided over 64,950 nights of lodging. Ruth's Place offers women a supportive space to focus on personal development and to find permanent housing and employment. Please help me to help Ruth's Place so that we can continue to provide programs and services to the women in our community who need our support to become self-sufficient. Homelessness can happen suddenly to anyone but your support will help to provide someone with stability and hope!
