Cwmlai's Child In Need Appeal

Cwmlai's Child In Need Appeal · 13 November 2020
We will be celebrating Children in Need this Friday by asking the children to come dressed in pyjamas / onesies / dressing gowns etc.
As you know, we can’t take money in school at the moment, so we will be asking you to make a donation on line. This year we are hoping you will join us in supporting one of our own, our own child in need, Tristan Griffiths.
I have had permission from his mother to share the following information with you. Tristan was a pupil of ours who is now receiving chemotherapy for Leukaemia. Tristan also has autism and now attends a specialist school, one of his sisters, still attends Cwmlai.
As you can imagine, this family are going through what would be an exceptionally challenging time under normal circumstances but during a pandemic this is much worse. Both his sisters are unable to attend school during this time and his parents are unable to attend work in order to give him the highest possible protection. The school he now attends is organising a fund raising sponsored walk for the Noah’s Ark Charity which are supporting the family.
We would also like to assist and raise funds for their chosen appeal, Noah's Ark Children's Hospital in Honour of Tristan by dressing in pjs and onesies on Friday 13th November. Any donations you can make to support our Tristan would be greatly appreciated.
We know our Cwmlai families are more than generous, so we hope you can dig deep and support our own Child in Need this Friday.
Thank you in anticipation of your help and generosity.
