Hannah & Rachell's 9 mile Walk
Fundraising for Deen City Farm
Story
Hi everyone!
It's Hannah Crutcher and Rachell Blair here, from Deen CIty Farm and we would just like to have a few moments of your time to tell you about our fundraising in the hope you will be able to spare some change.
The Challenge:
Those of you who know us will know that we are not the most 'fit' people, and will avoid walking as much as we can (Rachell especially!), so we decided that we would challenge ourselves and complete the walk around Virginia Water Lakes. We will be doing this on Saturday 13th December 2014. This walk is 9 miles long, which may not sound too long to most of you out there, but to us it is a really big mission! We are asking that you support us by donating on this page. It really does not have to be a lot as we understand that there isn't always spare cash, especially in the run up to Christmas, but any amount will be absolutely amazing. Now, to make this walk a bit more farm-related, we will be completing it in a farm-animal 'onesie', so we hope we can cheer up a few walkers on the way round!
The Charity:
Deen City Farm is a charity-funded farm in South Wimbledon. It aims to enrich the lives of people, both local and from afar, through rural learning in a local urban environment. We could talk for such a long time about how incredible this place is, but we would take up too much of you lovely peoples' time.
