Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last year I did it for myself. It was one milestone I wanted to cross off my bucket list. Whilst completing Manchester Run less than a week away from the terrible Arena attack might have seemed a crazy idea at the time, I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences in my life so far. The vibe Manchester had and the responsiveness of people gathering on the streets to support you despite the state of panic/terror cannot be put into words. This year I am doing it for the people who want to study at the University of Manchester as I believe having a chance to education is really important for a person’s future. Anul trecut am participat la Manchester Run - cursa de 10 km. Am facut-o pentru mine, nu pentru o cauza anume. Am ales sa fac asta chiar daca cu mai putin de o saptamna in urma a fost atentatul din Manchester. Am ramas profund impresionata de cat de mult a unit acel incident devastator oamenii din Manchester. In ciuda starii de teroare din acea saptamana, oamenii au iesit din case si au sustinut pe tot parcursul cursei participantii. Anul acesta am decis sa alerg din nou. De data aceasta pentru o cauza - strangere de fonduri pentru oamenii fara suport financiar ce doresc sa studieze la University of Manchester. Fondurile donate vor facilita oferirea de burse pentru cei ce nu ar avea acces la educatie in mod normal. Daca doriti sa donati pentru aceasta cauza, puteti sa faceti asta pe linkul atasat.
