For the tears we see. And those we don’t. Help us reach children before it’s too late by taking part in London Marathon 2024 with Place2Be.

Story

On April 21st 2024 I will be running my first marathon for Place2Be, an amazing children’s mental health charity that provides much needed support in schools for our children & their families.  I've seen first hand the impact that mental illness can have on people's lives & I passionately believe that early years support is a vital part of the answer.

Place2Be is on a mission is to help the UK's children become healthy and happy, particularly providing support for those who may need a bit of extra care for their mental wellbeing.

I'm running the London Marathon to raise awareness for the work they do, raise money to expand the schools they work with and engage the country's leaders in building out this level of support across the UK.

Place2Be works within our schools and sets the example for the support all our children should have access to.  They show the enormous benefits that comes from supporting our parents, teachers and counsellors as they devote their lives to the health and mental wellbeing of the nations' children.

Place2Be is a well-established and highly respected organisation serving over 500 schools and over 36,000 children. Over 75% of the children treated show improvement and 74% have fewer exclusions.

Many thanks for your generosity and support for this amazing organisation.
