My name is Daniel and I am trying to raise money for Cancer Research UK in honour of my Gran who passed away 3 years ago. I have many events I wish to do including bake sales, a swim across the river Forth, cycle a marathon on a stationary exercise bike, car boot sales and I have already entered and began training for the 5K Edinburgh run later this year.

Every year Cancer Research UK spends hundreds of millions of pounds on research into diagnosing, preventing and treating cancer. Many people don’t understand or acknowledge the time and effort that these specialists put into their job. Through these events I wish to give the public a better insight into what Cancer Research UK does and what they can do to help this great organisation.
