We fund research into type 1 diabetes to find a cure for type 1 diabetes

Story

OMG yes Shannon, Daniella and Nancie are doing a Tandem Skydive in Cambridge on Saturday 27th March 2010.

We are raising money for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) this has become very dear to our hearts after Shannon's eldest son George was diagnosed in 2007 then my eldest son Alfred was diagnosed in 2009 and this year Shannon's youngest son William was also diagnosed with diabetes and as most people know I also have had diabetes from the age of 4.

Type 1 diabetes affects about 350,000 people in the UK, 25,000 of them are children.

Incidence is increasing by about four percent each year particularly in children under five, with a five-fold increase in this age group in the last 20years.  This is a chronic, life threatening condition which has a life-long impact on those diagnosed with it and their families.  People with type 1 diabetes rely on multiple insulin injections every day just to stay alive until a cure is found with your donation this will help research into finding a cure.

Join me in finding a cure by digging deep and donating please.
