Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My boyfriend Harri and I are both taking part in the Cystic Fibrosis Santa Run at Black Park in Iver on the 28th of November 2010.
We will be donning a santa suit and white beard for the event running a total of 5k in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
As many of you know, I have Cystic Fibrosis which is one of the UK's most common, life-threatening, inherited diseases.
We are both really looking forward to taking part and helping the Cystic Fibrosis Trust raise much needed funds for vital medical research, to improve healthcare and to provide direct support to families living with Cystic Fibrosis.
Your donations are really very important to us and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust especially at this important juncture. In 2011, they will head into a multi-dose clinical trial to replace the faulty gene that causes CF with a healthy copy. They are leading the world with this work that, if successful, has the potential to help stop the lung damage developing that claims 90% of youngsters living with Cystic Fibrosis.
That's a massive 90,000 lives globally you can help to positively affect including my own!
So please dig deep and donate now. You know the mince pies and choccies will taste so much nicer come Christmas knowing you've made a difference!
Thank you so so much!
