Story
I will be attempting to run the London Marathon on 17 April 2011 in aid of the Guy’s & St Thomas’ charity.
For those of you that don’t know, in May 2009 my 3 year old son Daniel was rushed into Guys & St Thomas' Hospital after going into toxic shock through septicemia, where he was put on a life support machine for 3 days. Thankfully through the magnificent work by the Doctors and Nurses of the Evalina wards, Daniel managed to survive and is now fully recovered. Myself and my wife both agreed we would like to do something for the Hospital for saving the life of our son. We have since raised £2,480 via a charity night, and i agreed to run the London Marathon in 2011 and donate all money raised to the Guys & St Thomas' Charity.
All sponsorship or donations will be gratefully received,
Many Thanks,
Danny Chard
