Hi all. As my family and friends, you will all be aware of my love of running. Up to now most of my runs have been for pleasure, however, I've decided to push myself over the next year. I've always wanted to run the London marathon and in April 2024 I've been offered a place and have chosen to run on behalf of RNID, the Royal National Institute for the Deaf. This is a charity close to my heart as my Mum has been hearing impaired since childhood, her strong determined nature and her love of sport has been an inspiration to my all my life, never allowing this to impact on her life. Sarah and I also have extended family and friends who are hard of hearing, suffer with tinnitus or profoundly deaf. So I'm asking everyone who knows me to support me with this challenge. I've set up a just giving page and have a minimum of £2000 to raise for this amazing cause. Please please share with local businesses, your friends and family to help me raise as much as possible for RNID. Many of you pip me regularly when you see me out running, I've recently started my training regime so that I can perform my very best on the day, so if you see me please pip, shout out or even stop and shove a fiver in my hand 🥰😊. This is my biggest challenge to date and I'm so excited and grateful to be given this opportunity.... Thank you so much for reading this and donating.
