Story
Well that was quite a few months of my life !!!
I am thankfully back at home and heavily into my full rehabilitation program. I am very positive and happy to be getting a little stronger each day. I have my own personal trainer in Max, who is keeping me fit around the house….. It goes without saying that Janine is delighted to have me back home and her support throughout this whole time has been truly amazing of course.
Without the fantastic support of my whole family over this period, the whole experience would have been much harder. Although the Myasthenia Gravis condition I now have is not curable at present, it is fully treatable and so thankfully there is no reason that I should not be able to manage the condition fully and live as normal a life as I did before. That for me is the best news.
I have been overwhelmed with the support of dear friends. Not just close friends of Janine & myself, but my dear parents friends and friends of Hayley & Adam too. Friends old & new, who found out about my hospitalisation & condition and offered all sorts of help, not just for me (thankfully I was being pretty well cared for !!), but for my parents, Janine & Max and Hayley & Adam. Thank you all most sincerely. The cards, balloons, flowers, home cooking, hampers & positive messages of support I had in hospital and that have continued to arrive at home, are fantastic, very generous & show what amazing friends we have – thank you.
Our celebration on 4th August is going to be a very special day indeed and I very much look forward to celebrating with you then and for many more years to come.
