We give care and support to patients when it matters most.

Story

On Sunday 4th October at 11am, St Peter's Hospice will be holding their annual 'Walk to Remember' around Ashton Court.

I've enrolled to do this with my son Samuel and I would be very grateful if you would sponsor me.

You may or may not be aware that St Peter's supported my wife Jane in the last few months of her life and in particular, her last week.   My family and I were astounded with the level of care, kindness and love provided by the staff at St Peter's both in the community, the hospital and at their Brentry Hospice.   We will be forever indebted to them for caring for Jane in her final days.

If you are like me, I had very little awareness of the vital role Hospices play in looking after people who are terminally ill.   It's just not something you spend much time thinking about unless, sadly, you experience it in some way.  St Peter's is predominantly funded by donations and every pound we raise will enable them to provide the very special care that people like Jane need.

With thanks

Darren and Samuel
