Story
Each year the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) encourages every employee to spend one day to "Give Something Back" volunteering for a cause within their local community or supporting an initiative personal to them.
This year 5 of us from the Data Delivery team (Alan Carter, Nang Vo Kham Murng, Martine Damon-De-Waele, Rachel Read and Carron Barnett) are carrying out a charity walk on behalf of Diverse Abilities.
Our sponsored walk will take place on Thursday 3 October. We will be walking from the Sandbanks Peninsula to Bournemouth Pier and back (approx 7 miles). Please give generously to this very worthy cause and support us. We'll also be hypothetically shaking our bucket en-route!
Diverse Abilities is the only charity that supports children and adults with profound physical and learning disabilities in Dorset. We cannot change people’s disabilities but, with your help, we can make their lives fun and fulfilled, giving them a future they truly deserve.
