We fund ICU equipment and training to improve the care of the critically ill

Story

Rifleman Dave Curnow was the youngest soldier to have been sent out to Afghanistan, flying out to theatre aged just 18 years and a few days.

In September 2015 Dave was brutally attacked whilst home on leave in Redruth. Sustaining serious head injuries, Dave was admitted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth & was treated within Pencarrow Intensive Care Unit.

We anticipate around 500 riders participating in the memorial ride and is taking place on Sunday August 20th 2017, all participants are required to pay a minimum of £3, all money received going to charity. On completion of the ride there is a late afternoon / evening social planned which is open to anybody and is free to attend.

The venue for the pm event is St Rumons Social Club, Redruth and will include live music by local band Motown Pirates and a raffle.

This page has been set up for the purpose of spectators wishing to donate and show their support to Dave's family and the sale of images to participants taken by professional photographers during the ride.
