We fight childhood liver disease to help every life affected

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

William has done incredibly well over the last year and hasn't looked back since his operation to correct his biliary atresia. He has attended regular check ups to monitor his jaundice levels and liver function, and his progress has continued to be good and prove that he is a tough and very brave little boy.

There is still much to understand about biliary atresia and research is ongoing and expensive. At present CLDF is the only charity funding research into childhood liver desease so these events are crucial to their calender and the future outlook for children such as William.

There is still much uncertainty for children born with Biliary Atresia and I am running the Great North Run and the Loch Ness Marathon this year to give my son the best chance in the future should he need further treatment.  With the support of my friends and family I hope to raise a substantial amount for the charity.

Your continued support is very much appreciated by us all.
