Update!

Thank you for all your fantastic support. I managed to complete the 10km in 1 hour 00 minutes and 36 seconds. Really annoyed I didn't break the hour but maybe next time. Thanks again for providing the motivation I needed to train and finish the race.

I am going to be running in the Leeds Abbey Dash 10km on Sunday the 22nd November and I would like to raise as much money as possible for St Gemmas Hospice in Leeds. They did a fantastic job of looking after my Nana several years ago in her final days so I'd like to give something back.

Why should you sponser me? Well, this is going to be tough. I work in IT, most of my days are spent behind a desk or in meetings, my favorite food is pizza, my favorite drink is guiness and I haven't run more than a mile since I was at school, so running is not something that comes naturally. Therefore I need the motivation of raising money for a good cause, that's why I have set up this page.
