As part of the Mote CC 2025 strategy they wish to invest in 4 new net bays which will be available across the club for Seniors & Colts to use and develop there games. The cost of this is just a small £40,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!(staggering right). Therefore members are looking to raise £163 each to contribute towards the cost.

Now although my playing boots are hang up for now, I have been coaching within the Colts since I joined the club a couple of years ago and hope to watch my son develop and play for many future years with the club. Therefore they need decent training facilities, so I would ask anybody who can afford to contribute towards my target to do so please.

Now for what I am doing...........At the beginning of June I committed to running a minimum of 5KM everyday for the month of June ( no reason but to get fit). Currently when writing this I have completed 21 days consecutive running and have run 137.4km. Now I have a reason and a purpose so I have increased my challenge to continue running over the summer and complete the magic number of 163 miles ( or 262.3km) so still another 77.6 miles (124.9km) to go.

Therefore any donations would be greatly welcomed and will spur me on to complete the distance required and help contribute towards to players having access to decent facilities to play.
