Hi Everyone, on the 12 June, as some of you will be aware i shall be playing 4 rounds of Golf in one day to raise funds for the Colonels fund Grenadier Guards. This fund helps r wounded veterans and families in many ways.

In the last few years wounded veterans have been coming to Scotland to play Golf at some of the finest courses in the Country, The Old Course, Gleneagles to name a few. The fund has helped out with this and i have been involved in a small way and seen the joy the guys get from being here and experiencing this and the way it has helped in their rehabilitation.

Joining me during the day to play along side will be the Helensburgh GC Captain Ian Irving and Lady Captain  Margaret Thompson, The RCO of the Grenadier Guards Mathew Ellmer, the former Rangers Manager  Walter Smith, the former Chairman and Rangers Player Gordon Smith and a wounded veteran from the Grenadier Guards Nick Davis.
