My Mum, Maureen Hanson had breast cancer 3 times between the ages of 49 and 61, when she died from it, as it had reached her bones. The first 2 times, she had surgery, chemotherapy & radiotherapy, and, inevitably lost her hair. I didn't support her by shaving mine, then. On the 3rd occasion, she was diagnosed as having terminal cancer. The Weston Park Support Centre were so helpful to both her and her husband, giving them support and valuable advice. They even got Mum on a mini beauty course, where she got advice on her "colours" and loads of free cosmetics - she loved that!

I'm shaving my head as a tribute to her on the 3rd anniversary of her death, and also, to thank the Cancer Support Centre for helping her
