Picture the scene: 2 days before my 40th birthday, vulnerable, insecure, feeling low. Two of my lovely friends from my choir suggest I join them on this sponsored walk... and you all know mine is not a body built for exercise!!!  You know the moment; your brain says 'no', your mouth says 'yes'!  

So, if I'm willing to put my lazy bones through this 12.5 mile walk, it would be lovely if you would reward my efforts by sponsoring me. Scannappeal and the South Bucks Hospice are both very deserving local charities, which may well touch you or someone you know. So go on, sponsor me... it's unlikely I'll be doing it very often!!!
