The hugest thanks to everyone who has donated towards my walking the Test Way on Sunday.  It was an incredibly well organised event - encouraging marshals at every turn, bottles of water en route and big smiles and congratulations at the end.  My hips were aching something rotten on Monday (the feet were fine!) but the main point of this was to raise £1,000, and with your generosity, once all the offline gifts are in and even before Gift Aid, I will have exceeded that.  Thank you, thank you, and I know that Cancer Research and the Romsey Rotary Club will add their thanks to mine.
 

And although it wasn't a race, I was the first of the women on the marathon route to cross the finishing line (in 6.5 hours, and about 10 minutes behind a chap who was power walking). Don't worry though ... this won't affect On Foot daily walk timings!
