Dear Friends.

On the 4^th July (Amendment to the date, won't be happening until 10th October now, Cheers BoJo) this year, I will be taking part in
a walk to raise funds for a charity, I feel, that is very close to a lot of
peoples hearts. The name of the charity is FirstLight Trust. (Find them here https://www.firstlighttrust.co.uk/).
This charity supports veterans, not only military but also from The Emergency
services who are unfortunate enough to require assistance for whatever reason.
Being a veteran myself, after 23 years of Service in HM Armed Forces, this is obviously
close to my heart. I was one of the fortunate ones but also realise there are
many that aren’t, hence the choice of charity.

I have set up a Just Giving Page at ……… We have over 2500
friends and I know from a lot of posts I see that there are vet’s amongst you and
even if you haven’t served you appreciate everything these guys and girls have
given. If everyone gave just a quid that’s a large amount of wonga to hand over
to do some good for the people who need it.
