Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We walked 20 miles through the night of 17th September to raise money for Maggie's Centres. Our fundraising target is £1,200 but with your generous support we hope to go well above this, please give as much as you can.
Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres are a network of drop-in centres in Great Britain, which aim to help anyone who has been affected by cancer by providing support, information and practical advice. The Maggie Keswick Jencks Cancer Caring Trust, ("Maggie's") was founded by and named after the late Maggie Keswick Jencks, who died of cancer in 1995. Like her husband, architectural writer and critic Charles Jencks, she believed in the ability of buildings to uplift people. To this end the buildings have been designed by some of the world's best architects, and in fact our walk will take us through the new London Maggie's Centre designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour.
