Sadly most people will know of someone,  be it a relative, work colleague, a friend or even a friend of a friend who will have been affected by cancer.  In 2009 I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Breast Cancer which had spread to my lymph nodes and quite simply The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre saved my life.  I underwent a gruelling course of treatment for nearly 2 years including Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy, Herceptin and a five year course of Tamoxifen,  I`m still taking medication and have regular check up`s and so far so good.

I now want to give something back and it would be great if you could help by sponsoring me to do the Great Wall of China Trek in October 2016.   By raising this money it will  help the charity continue with not only their research but also to care & support patients from Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire and the Isle of Man.
