My family faced the devastating reality of my Mum's terminal illness only months before she died.  Towards the final weeks of her life, it was a real struggle to give her everything and anything that she needed to be comfortable.  St David's hospice was our light at the end of the tunnel... they welcomed Mum and the family with open arms supporting us with all the help we could wish for.  What we appreciated most were the people!  The people at St David's hospice take the time to explain what you need to know and in whatever way you need.  They let us arrive at any time during the day and during the night and the hospice itself was able to support Mum with brilliant equipment that she would never have been able to have at home (the bath that she referred to as 'the spaceship').
