Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraiser page.

I am going to contribute to the local community by picking litter in Mill Hill East and surrounding areas on Saturday, 17/12/22.

I will be out the entire day light time on Saturday, walking foot paths and picking litter left by fellow neighbours and visitors to the area.

The request from you is to stay comfortable where you are and contribute to https://www.rescueremedies.co.uk/ charity via this fundraising page.

I have visited their kennels a month ago and was amused how great they are: devoted volunteers, fantastic rehoming rates and great care of dogs who were very unfortunate - abandoned, used for dogs fights, injured and even were booked for death row...

The charity has recently published its reports for 2021 period and is now in deficit... due to insufficient donations, lack of any government support and very limited corporate support.

Charitable contributions, generally, are not very common or generous. Cost of living crisis and rishi's tax hikes do not help.... but at the same time we continue to go to restaurants , parties etc.

I can't offer you gala, just down to the earth activity for your benefit - but please do contribute. There is no such thing as too small amount - so please go ahead. Even 5 or 10 pounds will make a difference!

My employer, EY, has agreed to match your contributions for up to total of £500 - which is very helpful

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP AND GENEROCITY!

Yours, Dima

About the charity

Our whole reason for being is to find homes for as many rescue dogs as we can, providing them with care and love while they are waiting, however long that takes. We take most of our dogs from death row in council pounds who have run out of time and are in desperate need of a rescue place.
