Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

In April 2018, Barney Woolcock sadly passed away following his difficult battle with Cancer. Barney was not only a key member of the Direct Digital team, he was a fantastic friend to many and was treasured by his colleagues for his day to day hilarious behaviour, his calming temperament and his motivating attitude on the sales floor - Not forgetting his famously close-fitting office attire and his outrageous personality!

Towards the end of his 2-year battle, Barney spent his last few weeks in Trinity Hospice, whereby the staff there provided exceptional end of life care for him and supported his loved ones at such a difficult time.  We would like to raise funds for the charity to thank them for the service they provided for Barney and to provide support to help other families through similar difficulties.

On Saturday 28th September 2019 staff from Direct Digital will climb the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales, (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) within 24 Hours, which involves 26 miles (42km) total horizontal distance, 3,000m (9,843ft) of vertical ascent, across 3 peaks.
