The directors of the Responsive Engineering Group are walking the boundaries of our beautiful and much loved Northumberland to raise money for Cancer Research . The idea came from an overweight Audi car salesman, Andy Maidwell, who has planned and is walking the whole route to raise money for another worthy cause, the NSPCC.
Thinking that if Andy can do this, so can the overweight and generally unfit Directors of the Responsive Engineering Group! Yes, it’s hard to believe but each and every one of us will be a trekker for part or most of the 250 mile route; even ! In these very difficult times whilst we expend our energy on our business performance it is so easy to forget the many people who are less fortunate than ourselves. For this reason we have decided to join and support Andy in his quest to raise money for NSPCC only we will be raising money for Cancer Research. This is very relevant to us here at Responsive as at the beginning of the year one of our close colleagues, , had to leave the business because of terminal cancer. Just about all of us are aware of a friend, colleague or a family member who has been affected by cancer and the work of incredible people like Sir Bobby Robson serves to inspire us to make a little effort to support the important research work that is directed at finding cures in the future. Our aim is to raise £10,000 for Cancer research so please give generously and if you would like to join us on any part of our journey, for any distance, no matter how long, in return for a donation, please let us know. Please refer to the Map for when and where we intend to be, and let us know if you can support us. Your help and generosity is very much appreciated.
